We had to give it to Poker Quest overall. MotionX-Poker Quest is the most unique and addictive poker game on the App Store. With it’s fantastic dice physics, progressive “story” mode, unlockable skins, and extreme pickup-and-playability, it’s an easy choice for casual poker players everywhere.
Tim reaches 2 billion coins with a 900,000 hand!
He asked the MotionX-Poker Quest team this, “Colin, what’s your score?” There is a clear competition here to have the most coins in MotionX-Poker Quest… who will be the ultimate champion?

Even if you have never played poker, such as me, you will even enjoy this game. Playing this in the beginning, I did get a little confused, but shortly after I played for a while, I understood the game and it got very addicting!
When you load up the app, you will get a screen which you can either enter the game , or go and see your dice, see your treasures, your stats, or change some settings.
The game is based on Egypt, so expect things, such as music and the UI to be Egyptian-like.

Colin sent the MotionX-Poker Quest team these screen shots. He has 1.5 billion coins, 25 treasures and has played MotionX-Poker Quest 157 hours for a total of over 14,000 hands! Amazing! We have a real competition – who can reach 2 billion coins first?

Verdict: Buy It – $2.99 | LITE version available.
Pros: It’s addictive and beautiful
Cons: Save file disappears if you start with the LITE version
I feel obligated to review the game that’s had the most play out of any iPod Touch / iPhone games I’ve bought so far. That game is MotionX Poker Quest by Fullpower Technologies, Inc. and you can download it for only $2.99. There’s also a lite version, if you don’t want to commit right away. Don’t make the same mistake I did, though. Just buy the full version so you don’t have to start over once you realize how awesome this title is.

One of the first apps I downloaded when I inherited my brother’s old iPhone was MotionX Dice. It was brilliant in its execution: 3D dice rendered with loving detail, lots of custom dice and perfect use of the accelerometer. MotionX games are variations on a theme, however, and they’ve taken their MotionX Poker system, wrapped it in an Egyptian theme, and cranked up the fun. The game is simple: roll the dice to get a hand, choose which you keep and which you put back, and repeat until the hand is over.

The Motion-X dice engine is hands down the best on the iPhone. The free app came out originally to demonstrate the engine, and works very well. It was only a matter of time before the devs turned it into game. They have done so in both Motion-X Poker, and Motion-X Poker Quest.

Anything that makes poker a little easier to play is a good thing in my book. I’ve never been able to get my head around a game where you can actually win with a bad set of cards.

My attention span when it comes to gaming, and especially mobile gaming, is not very long. Most titles on my iPhone never get a second play, in fact. Hence my surprise when I spent many hours over the past few days on MotionX’s newest title, Poker Quest….
